Kind Regards (BTS)

In “Kind Regards,” Dee is a woman stuck in the rut of an average life: an unfulfilling nine-to-five job and a dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. Juggling her mundane routine with the occasional comedy gig, Dee yearns to break free from the constraints of mediocrity and make it big on the comedy circuit. However, her aspirations are hindered by the harsh realities of social class, income inequality, and nepotism.

Despite her talent and determination, Dee finds herself constantly struggling to gain traction in an industry where success seems reserved for the privileged few. As she navigates through the challenges of pursuing her dreams while also trying to support her struggling mother financially, Dee grapples with self-doubt and frustration.

“Kind Regards” deals with the barriers that stand in the way of chasing one’s dreams, particularly for those who lack the privilege and resources to easily access opportunities. Through Dee’s journey, the film sheds light on the harsh realities of pursuing a creative career in a world where socioeconomic status often dictates success, leaving viewers with a bittersweet reflection on the complexities of ambition and perseverance in the face of adversity.
